Here's a unique opportunity to bring heart-warming entertainment to your event -- entertainment that transcends cultural, religuios and ethnic boundaries to remind everyone of one basic message:
The Winter Holiday Season, irrespective of an individual's faith, stands for compassion, sharing, laughter and a remembrance of one's own ancestral roots.
PICTURE THIS:
The roving band of modern-day Troubadours have happened upon the scene, just as your Holiday Party is beginning. They entertain your guests during your dinner, with musicians strolling from table to table serenading your guests.
After the meal, the Troubadours turn to a more energetic show -- with songs sacred and light-hearted, some tall tales and European-style clown humor, some dancing -- and maybe even opportunities for your guests to try their hand at, say, a waltz, or a belly dance, or even a Bulgarian Fire Dance!
You'll feast your ears and eyes and mind on glorious music and dance from throughout the world, unexpected magic and the unusual comedies and humor the troubadours have brought to the gathering! |
PORTABLE, SELF-CONTAINED SOUND
If your require extensive strolling, or sufficient sound reinforcement to reach a crowd in an area lacking electrical power call the Troubadours. Their proprietary portable sound equipment enables them to easily be heard at whatever location they're needed. And setup at additional locations often requires just 2 or 3 minutes!
A SAMPLING OF MATERIAL:
A Czech Christmas carol on bagpipe. Lullaby Jesu. A Jewish prayer song for peace. A Hungarian vagabond prayer song/dance for a full pot, food wine and good women. A Turkish party song. Strange Holiday customs explored. Sing along with Silent Night & other favorites. A thoughtful piece of clown comedy about loneliness at Christmas. An exuberant Russian Peasansts' dance.
Each show includes from four to six multi-talented musicians/dancers/vocalists/storytellers. The New Europa Troubadours perform on 23 instruments from medieval to modern, sing in 15 languages, perform dances from 12 ethnic areas, and tell all their stories in English.
